The IMM 72711 is a single-sided industrial belt grinding or polishing machine used for manual metal finishing, deburring, polishing, buffing and satin finishing. Typical applications include stainless steel parts, castings, fittings, surgical instruments, precision components and general metal parts. 

The 72711 can be configured either as a belt grinding machine or as a polishing / buffing machine. Depending on the selected equipment, it can be fitted with belt grinding guards, contact wheels, polishing wheel guards, buffing wheels or Scotch-type finishing tools. 

The IMM 7725 is a compact double-sided machine, often used as a workbench or small stand-mounted belt grinding and polishing machine. The 72711 is a larger single-sided industrial machine with higher motor power, larger contact wheels, larger polishing wheels and more ergonomic configuration options for sitting or standing operation. 

The 72711 is a single-sided machine with one working station. The 72730 and 72780 are double-sided machines with two working sides. The 72711 is ideal when one dedicated grinding or polishing station is required, while the 72730 and 72780 are often used when two working stations are needed in one machine. 

Yes. The 72711 can be configured for sitting or standing operation with a higher or lower machine base. This allows the machine to be adapted to the operator, the workpiece size and the required finishing process. Electric height adjustment is available as an option.

Yes. The 72711 can be equipped with a frequency converter for variable speed control. This allows the operator to adjust the belt speed or polishing wheel speed to different materials, tools and surface finishing requirements. 

 The 72711 can use abrasive belts up to 100 x 3,500 mm or 100 x 4,000 mm, approximately 4" x 138" or 4" x 157". This makes the machine suitable for larger contact wheel grinding and industrial finishing applications. 

The 72711 can be equipped with contact wheels up to 450 mm (17.7") in diameter and polishing wheels up to 500 mm (19.7") in diameter. This gives the machine flexibility for grinding, polishing and buffing applications.
