At EMO Hannover 2025, IMM proudly presented the latest generation of our SPE 6-axis CNC grinding and polishing machine. Designed for the high-precision grinding, polishing and finishing of steam and gas turbine blades as well as aircraft engine blades, the SPE sets new standards in automated surface processing.

Until 2024, the SPE relied on the proven Siemens 840D sl controller. With the new SINUMERIK ONE, the machine now offers:
- Faster processing and higher efficiency in CNC programming
- Seamless CAD/CAM integration (e.g. via Mastercam)

That’s why we offer our employees company bicycles through JobRad.
Just like in 2023, our team once again cycled from the hotel to the exhibition grounds in Hannover during EMO 2025. With heavy traffic around the fair, we found that riding bikes is not only faster and more convenient, but also eco-friendly and sustainable. The fresh breeze in the mornings felt great while the rides back to the hotel in the evenings are wonderful to unwind. Yet again, we were lucky with the weather in Hannover the entire week.
For us, it’s a small but important step towards reducing our footprint while showcasing innovation at the world’s leading trade fair for metalworking.
